FRIENDS OF THE WESTERN NORTH CAROLINA The Friends of the Western North Carolina Nature Center's original cite included all the visitor information for the Nature Center. The City of Asheville took over that part of the site, allowing the Friends to concentrate on fund raising and support for the Nature Center. Consequently, they needed an entirely new design and site structure. This site was built on the Drupal content management system (CMS), which allows the Friends to comprehensively manage the content of their site.

MICHAEL JOHNSTONE AIA - ARCHITECT After creating Michael Johnstone's logo and drawing some technical illustrations for a forensic golf course architecture court case, Michael asked me to review his web site design. After showing him how I could enhance attractiveness and usability - as well as make the site more consistent with his new logo, Michael had me redesign his website, too. Recently, we updated Michael's site, dividing it into two tiers so that clients could choose between Golf Course and general Forensic Architecture services. |

BAY TMS / BAY PSYCHIATRIC ASSOCIATES Bay Psychiatric Associates in Berkeley, California wanted a special website to showcase the innovative Transcranial Magnetic Stimulation therapy that they offer. Currently, we are working on a complete overhaul of the Bay Psychiatric site that will merge the TMS site with BPA's main website and create a distinctive new design and flow for their organization. |

DOC'S BANJOS Doc wanted a rich website heavily adorned with images to convey the craftsmanship and quality of the musical instruments he makes. This highly-interactive site shows every feature and permutation that Doc offers so the viewer can choose all the elements for their own custom banjo online. |

CAROLINA MOUNTAIN LAND CONSERVANCY CMLC had an attractive website, but they wanted to be able to edit and add content themselves. We rebuilt their site using the Drupal content management system (CMS). The folks at CMLC took to the CMS like ducks to water, and are thrilled with how easy it is for them to add and edit pages. Recently, we added a slide show to the Home Page. CMLC can take a page from News, Events or other sections of the site and choose to have that page displayed as a slide on the Home Page. CMLC was so happy with their site, that they have given us many referrals, and now we're creating many websites for non-profits dedicated to preserving our land and natural beauty! |

This site is a labor of love that I've been building for over 5 years. Though Old-Time is a relatively obscure traditional style of music, this site is visited over 50,000 times a year by viewers from all over the world. The Old-Time Music Home Page even merited a mention in the February 2000 issue of Forbes magazine. If you want to know more about David Lynch's personal interests, you can visit his autobiography page on the site. |

New design for a Philadelphia-based folk band who tours extensively across the US, as well as abroad. The band were so thrilled with the CD package design I did for their latest release that they had me extrapolate the design into a new website for them. |

Marshall Wyatt, the owner of Old Hat, was so pleased with my CD packaging design that he hired me to revamp his web site. 5 years later, we revised it again. Marshall wanted a site with a vintage look, focusing on old 78 rpm records. He also wanted a navigation system that made sense. Marshall wanted the site to look lush, and didn't care how long it took to load, since most of his clients have broadband connections. The site includes interviews, as well as the complete liner notes for all his CD releases, so the site doubles as a sales tool and a valuable historic archive. |

Brahma Ridge is an event center near Candler, NC. After creating an oversized postcard and a brochure for owners Holly Berry and Rob Denton, they awarded me their web site project. I took extra effort to make sure the website was consistent with all their other marketing materials to maximize branding. |

This Charlotte, NC-area band was so thrilled with the CD package design I created for them that they wanted me to update their website, too! Check out the Look and Listen page to see the simple method used to play sound samples. |

Asheville, NC-based Vollie McKenzie wanted a simple yet fun site he could use to sell his music and promote himself for gigs. Vollie was pleased with the open, simple, yet playful design I created for him. |
