Form can be appreciated visually, but function is a different animal. When it works right, we hardly notice it, which is as it should be.
Conversely, when functional design it doesn't work, it's blatantly obvious. Katerina Kamprani found a way to honor everyday, well-designed objects by presenting alternative design failures.
Her work brought me new-found appreciation for the seamless designs I depend on, yet rarely notice.
